Taking A Look At The New 2011 Camaro Pictures

The history of the Chevrolet Camaro dates back to 1967. The Camaro has had many different faces since those first models rolled off of the assembly line but one thing has remained the same. They were always an affordable American sports car. The 2011 Camaro pictures out now are showing no exception.

With its different trim levels and a variety options there is sure to be something for everyone. It is an affordable option for many who are looking for a nice sports car with a lower end price tag than many other sports car of this class. Take a look at the options you get with the new Camaro in 2011.

The newer model is a V6 with a very impressive three hundred twelve horsepower engine. You can also find a standard six speed manual transmission. For an automatic you can expect to tack on about a thousand dollars onto the sticker price for a 2011 camaro. The wheels are standard eighteen inches with a steering wheel mounted cruise control and dual exhaust. In addition to these standard items you will also get six months of OnStar service with your package for no extra cost to you. This includes turn by turn navigation.

In the line of cars there is the Coupe and there is the SS line. Both are great cars and it just depends on your needs, budget and desires in the available packages that are offered. If you want a bit more power you will want the SS line.

If you are looking for a little more, check out the Coupe 2LT. This model still comes standard with the 3.6 liter engine and manual transmission. Upgrades over the previously two models include leather appointed seating, auto dimming mirrors, head-up display, four gauge instrument cluster, Boston acoustics 9 speaker premium sound system, Bluetooth, USB ports and 19 inch wheels. The 2LT has a base price of $27,225.00.

If you want more than V6 power for your new 2011 Camaro then take the next step up to the SS line up. These (1SS and 2SS come with a standard 6.2, 426 horsepower V8 engine. It is just like the 67' model in the choices that driver enthusiasts are looking for. They come with twenty inch aluminum wheels, four piston Brembo vented disk brakes and a reardeck lid spoiler. You also get a limited slip rear differential and SS seat embroidery. These will run you a bit over thirty thousand dollars.

The 2SS is similar with the options as the 1SS with a bit more punch. It will run you about another five thousand dollars for the 2SS features. It also has the USB ports and Bluetooth options. These options are for selected phones. It also has a power sunroof, RS package and automatic transmission with stripe package.

With the exception to the LS the RS package is available on every model. It has a high intensity discharge headlights with LED Halo rings that are integrated. You can also fin a rear deck lid spoiler on LT models and a unique tail lamp quality to it.

Chevrolet has done a very good job at keeping with the ideal of the original 1967 Camaro. This latest model has also been done in a bit of a retro look taking in the best visual features of the 1967-1969 body styles. For an affordable american sports car, the 2011 Camaro is your car.
